There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8
Having outlined the darkness of the sinful life all humans are born into, Paul, now, lays the diamond of Eternity on the Black velvet cloth of our sin nature, life in the Holy Spirit, heirs with our Savior Christ, our future Glory and, God’s everlasting Love. Humans who have been saved by faith in Jesus Christ through the grace of God the Father are no longer living a life of condemnation. The Holy Spirit has come to live within the Christian’s spirit and this has set free the sinner that once had been enslaved in sin and misery. Christians no longer “walk” according to the law but are to “walk” in the Holy Spirit because the righteous requirement of the law was met by our Savior in His sinless life lived among us. His righteousness has now been imputed to the Christian and there is no need to try to live according to the law which was impossible for humans to do. The same Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the tomb will raise all Christians to a glorified body when our Lord Jesus returns. Now, Christians are brothers/sisters with Christ in all things and that means all Christians are now fellow heirs with Christ in Heaven. The glory that awaits the Christian far outweighs the sufferings of this life! We are to suffer as our Savior suffered for the gospel. Our weaknesses are turned to strengths by the Holy Spirit within us. And, when we understand that about our life here and in Heaven, who can be against us!? Since God is the Creator of all things and all beings, there is nothing and no one who can take away our salvation and the Holy Spirit who indwells us! Whether we live or whether we die, we do all for the glory of our Savior and Lord Messiah, Jesus! Give Him praise today for He alone is worthy!!
